Ramsey Prison Book Drive

The research proves education is essential to success upon release of incarcerated Americans. "Ex-offenders who complete some high school courses have recidivism rates around 55 percent." "A bachelor’s degree reduces it to 5.6 percent." "A master’s brings recidivism to 0 percent." UHCL offers undergraduate and graduate programs at the Ramsey Correctional Unit in Rosharon, TX.

I could talk numbers with you all day, but I'd rather let one of the UHCL students from Ramsey explain how these UHCL offerings transformed his life:
