Rally for the Wolf Dog

Join us to help "Rally for the Wolf Dog!"
This wolf hybrid was being kept as a pet in an apartment in the city of St. Cloud Minnesota. The owner was actively seeking to breed him through Facebook adds. (This hybrid is only 6 months old.) After not being successful in finding a mate for the animal, he attempted to sell or give the pup away. In the attempt to transfer the pup to someone else, the hybrid got away from him and ran off.
The city of St. Cloud started receiving calls about a possible wolf in the area. Animal control was able to capture the animal, by using a large humane animal live trap. After seeing that it had a collar on, they brought it to Central Minnesota Animal Care and Control, (CMACC). CMACC is now caring for the pup and is checking his DNA. A high wolf content could possibly mean that this pup may need to be slowly weaned onto a raw meat diet. Special veterinary care will be needed also because of the differences between wolves and dogs. CMACC is looking into the need for neutering and which vaccinations would be best for him. CMACC is also working with sanctuaries to figure out what is best for his future needs.
Please help CMACC with veterinary needs, DNA test, dietary needs, parasite control, and ultimate sanctuary transport and support for this wolf hybrid pup.

Anyone donating and leaving their email will be sent the results of the DNA test! You can also leave a suggested name for the pup when you leave your email. CMACC will choose a name for the pup from all of the suggestions. The name will be announced on the CMACC Facebook page after the "Rally for the Wolf Dog" campaign ends. 100% of any surplus donations given to this campaign will be used for veterinary expenses for other animals being cared for at CMACC on behalf of this wolf dog.
