Picture the best people you know. The people that drop everything to help anyone in need. The ones that give their love and time selflessly without expecting anything in return. That’s Tony and Amanda Recio. These selfless, loving, involved people are going through something no one should have to go through.
Tony was diagnosed with Choroidal Melanoma Metastatic Cancer at 39. The Metastatic sights are in the base of his skull, shoulder blades, C1, C2, tailbone, right humorous, glenoid cavity, lung and left hip basically all over the place. Tony currently needs to have radiation to the base of his skull to prevent pressure on his brain that causes seizure. This is just the first of many procedures to follow.
Cancer rips through lives unexpectedly and does irreparable damage, leaving behind a broken tattered version of the life we once had.
Medical bills will be adding up as insurance does not cover everything, along with living expenses, travel expenses and neither Tony or Amanda are currently able to work. So, you can imagine the help that this family is in need of!!!
As we all know, focusing on getting well and not on the other "stuff" is essential. Tony with his infectious smile, his love for life and fighting spirt, is a husband, father of four children, son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew and friend to many! Everybody knows BOTH Tony and Amanda are the first to jump and help others. Now it is our turn to help this family in their time of need.
