Rally For Sue

In February of 2016 Sue was diagnosed with Stage 3 Vulvar Cancer.   Because Vulvar cancer is very rare and aggressive in nature Sue has had numerous forms of medical intervention such as 3 surgeries,  6 weeks of daily radiation and 8 rounds of chemotherapy.  

 One year later in February 2017 a  PET Scan revealed that the tumor was not responding to treatment.  She was left with few options so went to Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN seeking a second opinion . 

Sue's journey would lead to an extended stay in Minnesota to complete 3 more weeks of daily radiation and on April 26, 2017 underwent an 8 hour surgery to sucessfully remove the tumor.   Because of the aggressive nature of the cancer she will need frequent scans and follow up visits. 

Although insurance is in place it unfortunately does not cover travel, food expenses and extended hotel stays.  Her husband George has also not been able to work as much as he normally would.  We are asking for any assistance you feel you can give to help with the financial stress of such a long and hard journey.
