On March 19th, Lisa was diagnosed with stage 2b breast cancer. This took us all by surprise since so many of us know Lisa as a picture of health and wellness. Not surprisingly, though, Lisa quickly looked at her diagnosis in a positive light. Always one to encourage and help others in the area of health, she sees this as a way to grow and learn so that she can share her knowledge and experience with others. She has seen God's hand in her life over the past several years, and she fully trusts in his plan for her. She has great support from friends and family, and she has truly felt the care and concern from her workplace, Anytime Fitness. She feels so blessed and thankful!

With her cancer being an aggressive form, Lisa's doctors didn't waste any time getting her set up with appointments for tests and prepping her to begin chemo. With a couple of weeks worth of appointments behind her, Lisa began her 6 months of chemotherapy treatment on April 2nd. Radiation and surgery will follow. Since medical bills pile up quickly, this GoFundMe fundraiser is to help with those expenses, especially with the possibility of Lisa missing more time away from work as she fights this fight against breast cancer.

Lisa continues to be strong and uplifting to others. She's continuing to be an amazing mama to Kali (4) and Kobi (almost 2). She's staying positive and is surrounding herself with positivity - thank you for being an encouragement in her life, and thank you for any donations made to help with her medical expenses.
