Raising the Roof for Alonzo Ray Hall
Donation protected
On June 10, 2019, my son Alonzo Ray Hall known to most as Ray was hospitalized and diagnosed with MS (Multiple Sclerosis). He went totally mute and lost use of his right side. Ray spent 39 days @ Johns Hopkins Hospital and was discharged home with the expectations of starting of a very strong medicine called Tysabri. Tysabri is an IV infused medication that Ray would receive once per month to help lesson his MS attacks. His neurologist strongly encourages that Ray starts with Tysabri first because this is the best medication for his specific case. Once he starts another medication he cannot go back to Tysabri.
The cost of this medication is about $6920 a month. Ray has been denied twice by his insurance company for the Tysabri treatment. He has since had an acute attack which affected his vision. His doctor is currently in the process of contacting the manufacturer for any assistance.
Any financial support you can give Ray and his family of four would be greatly appreciated.
