Raising money to save Kitty
Donation protected
I adopted Kitty one year ago with my own money and have paid his vet bills to date with my babysitting money. Kitty came home Friday in secitr pain. We thought it was a cut so we went to the vet. The suspected a UTD. The next am with an xray we discovered a dislodged spine. So Kitty now has a catheter in place and the vet said it looks like he had been grabbed by his tail really hard or swing by his tail and his nerves at his tailbone are a mess and they are somehow connected and adding trauma to his urinary tract. We're hopeful that everything's going to work out and he'll go back in a few days and have his tail removed and be able to pee on his own again. He will be on a boat load of pain medication for the next few days. 2g so far and adding as we go.
We have suspects that did this but we didnt see it happen otherwise we would press charges.
Anything would help..but if nothing else teach everyone that a cats tail is part of his spine and by grabbing or tugging, swinging a cat by its tail can severely cripple him.
