Raising money for Katie Wenszell
While sightseeing in Atlanta GA, Susan, Katie’s mother was pushed in front of a rail train. When she fell on the tracks she was knocked out, so Katie jumped down to help, even though the train was coming in. She was able to move her mother off the tracks, but neither of them made it to safety. Both were hit by the rail train. Susan’s injuries are not as severy thanks to Katie moving her off the tracks, but Katie is in critical condition. She has a couple serguries to go through and a long recovery ahead of her. We are looking to get donations to help pay for expenses of medical treatment, surgery, and therapy. We are looking for $5,000.00 but anything will help. Please keep Katie and her mother in your prayers. Katie is in the hospital and will be there for some time, but we are looking at getting the money together as soon as possible thru generous donations. Thank you to anyone willing to help and God bless you all.+ Read More
First off I want to thank everyone for the prayers and generous donations. The prayers have been so good, and we have seen miracle after miracle. The love and support that you have shown us has shown that light will always conquer the darkness around us, all we have to do is have faith and believe. Second I would like to give you an update on Katie. Katie is doing extraordinarily well. All of her surgeries turned out better than they thought it could. They were able to repair everything with screws and plates no artificial bones had to be put in they were able to repair her fractures with her bones. Katie made her trip back to Wisconsin thanks to Paratech Ambulance Service who volunteered there time and there resources to help us out. Katie is currently in Milwaukee facility getting rehab to get stronger, and she makes huge strides everyday. Katie is currently able to get herself up out of bed and into a wheelchair, she is also able to wheel herself around. Thank you everyone for everything you have done for my family. God is always watching and moving us in direction that will positively impact not only us but the world.
