Raising Money For an AED

Tabernacle Baptist Church is a 111 year old church located in the city of Coatesville, PA.  Our congregation is made up of about 110 members, with about half of them being active attendees and contributors. Because of the declining membership, our finances also suffer and most of the monies generated go towards maintenance, utilities, and paying our staff of 4 persons.
We are an aged population with an average age of 70.  Our nurse's ministry is currently administered by 2 retired physician assistants & a retired nurse's aid, whose average age is 78.
We are in process of upgrading our medical equipment to be able to respond to the types of emergencies that may occur in our aged population.
I have researched the cost of a new and refurbished AED, and determined that the amount solicited will cover a new one, but we will certainly settle for a refurbished one if that goal falls short our goal.
