Hello! I am Monica Diez and I will be running the 2016 New York City Marathon this November to raise funds for low income children attending the Revolcado School, in the town of Planetarica, Northern Colombia.
The Revolcado School provides education for disadvantaged children. This school has two wonderful teachers but it is deprived of basic resources and school supplies are non-existent. Despite all the struggles these beautiful children face, including daily long walks to school and hunger, they show up every day to class. Education is their only hope for a brighter future
I believe each of these children should have access to basic education, and I am convinced that together we can make a positive change in their lives.
Please help me to attain a fundraising goal of $3000 by November 6. This is enough money to educate and cover nutritional needs for 40 children for a year. Every dollar raised online goes directly to the children of the Revolcado School.
