Hello Friends and Loved Ones of Jo,
This beautiful, strong, and caring human needs the love and support that she so graciously shares with all of us. Jo, despite all her efforts to be strong and healthy both physically and mentally, has been given an extreme and unexpected challenge.
Recently Jo has been diagnosed with stage 3 rectal cancer.
She will be travelling back and forth between Whistler and Vancouver for up to 9 months, having to undergo In Vitro Fertilization, Radiation Therapy, Surgery, and Chemotherapy.
Estimated costs for this whole endeavour is over $20,000.00, and Jo has been advised that she should take this time off work to rest and preserve her energy. Her Mom Juliet will be flying over from Australia to be with her and support her through the process.
If you know Jo, you know that she is one serious super human! I'm sure she's made you laugh, watched you cry, stood up for you, cheered you on, loved you unconditionally, and never asked for anything in return. This is our opportunity to reciprocate that love. Anything you feel like contributing will help towards Joanne’s rent, food, and treatment through this challenging time.
