Raise them up for Ernie

I have never been good at asking for anything. I was raised to be solid and do things for yourself. I was also taught by these same people that giving and being there for others was a human and right thing to do and never was on the side of such a need (as my family is right now)For such human compassion and understanding..
It breaks me to write this.. to admit I actually need to ask you and you and you and you to help me... help me help my family and the wishes I must carry out for my father.
As many of my family and friends already know my dad passed away on Sep 6. This is a hard time for everyone who knew my dad. He was a loving, caring, and strong person. He was  husband and a dad, even children that where not his own.  Most importantly, papa to his grandchildren who where his life!
My dad was not delt the perfect hand in life but he kept one foot in front of the other. My mom has always been by his side. He struggled with meantal heath for years. Until his condition took his life. It was not the way anyone wants to loose a loved one. 
  I’m happy in the last few years to have spent so much time with my family and listen to all his crazy stories. His Army story’s are my favorite! They always make me laugh. That’s what my dad was best at making people laugh...  Dancing, singing, making faces,sending me weird selfies that’s my dad I will forever remember and cherish I hope everyone else will too.  
 If anyone could help us cover the cost in the final stages of his life it would be greatly appreciated. I hope after all the years my parents helped people with food to feed their family’s, or anything they needed they can find the kindness to help his family.  
I will forever miss my hunting and fishing partner. I hope your up there smiling big guy. I love you.
