My Uncle and I will be doing a sponsored skydive in June in honour of my Mum, Vicki Masson. She lost her fight against ovarian cancer in 2014 and we have chosen the charities to link in with her.
One of them is The Anneline Gorman Memorial Fund, which is an ovarian cancer charity, and GAGAH, which was one of her favourites and also where we have gotten all of our family dogs.
The final amount will be split between the two charities so, hopefully, we will both raise a significant amount. Also, along the way we hope we raise awareness for these two charities and the symptoms for ovarian cancer.
