Raincross Boxing Academy Fundraiser

Raincross Boxing Academy is a non-profit organization located in East Riverside that provides an education program as well as a free boxing program to at-risk youth from the area. Raincross members under 18 years old are required to do tutoring three times a week (even during the summer) in order to maintain their membership. We are a school before sports program that emphasizes academics before boxing. After tutoring, we have USA boxing certified trainers that teach kids from beginners, intermediate, and advanced levels. The boxing training paired with a focus in academic work creates strong and disciplined youth, and our goal is to reach as many kids as possible. Our volunteer staff is comprised of college students, all of which either graduated from or currently attend the University of California, Riverside. This dedicated staff works a countless number of hours to hold events at our gym such as job fairs, health fairs, and boxing shows to keep our kids off the street and involved in the community. Our biggest event is an annual boxing show that will be held on August 11, 2018. It is crucial that we bring in big numbers for this event and raise enough money to keep our gym free to the Riverside community.
