I am almost done with my book “Rainbow in the Dark” but I need your help to finish it up!
I believe that my life has led me to this moment and that you are reading these words so that you can assist me in fulfilling God’s plan for me. I feel that my story will be an inspiration for many people—including you!
In the book “Rainbow in the Dark” I share my life experiences: going from the streets of Compton to attending college at Washington State to playing in the NFL to living in Hawai‘i.
I want you to experience the highs and the lows and be inspired by my battles. I want you to see how the choices I made led me to where I am today and how now, by putting my faith in God (I am putting my faith in Him—as well as in you—as I write these words) I have begun to turn my life around.
To finish my story, I need to be able to devote all of my time over the next 60 days (outside of work) to completing “Rainbow in the Dark.” Your donation will make it so I can do just that. It will free me from the need to spend my “free-time” working a second job to make ends meet. I will be able to pour my heart and soul into finishing the book and delivering the manuscript to my publisher. (Yes, I already have a publisher. The publisher will be editing and formatting the book. They will also do the cover design, the printing, and handle distribution—at no cost to me. But, they cannot do any of that until I deliver my manuscript to them.)
It’s been almost twenty-five years since the last time I threw a pass in the NFL. A lot has happened since then (including Mr. Andrew Luck now wearing “my” number 12 jersey for the Colts!). I hope my story will inspire, motivate and encourage people to seek, pursue, and conquer their dreams—without limitations!
