Donation protected
On June 26, 2017, Gloria Olivia Malvaez was called home to our heavenly father in Merced, CA. She was born on February 12, 1948 to her parents Apollonio and Ernestine Trujillo in Alameda, CA.

Gloria was a volunteer at her church and previously volunteered at the battered women shelter. She would help-out the homeless and her community. She was known all over California, people who knew her say they will miss her cooking, especially her Spanish rice. She loved football and tail gating, her favorite team was the Oakland Raiders, she was their #1 fan, in 2013 she even did a spread for ESPN for being a Raider Icon Fan. Gloria liked to cook and was a crafty person. She loved her family, they would get together for barbeques, she would tell her son,” Is JoJo’s Barbeque open today?”, taking the credit for having taught him how to barbeque. She will be truly missed by her family and friends.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents Apollonio and Ernestine Trujillo, her husband Gabriel Malvaez, her daughter Jenny Araujo, and brothers Jay Trujillo & Edward Trujillo.

She is survived by her son Joseph Trujillo and his wife Gina Marie, her son Steven Araujo and his wife Shannon, her daughter Angela Guevara and her husband Ruben, her son Gabriel Malvaez and his wife Jami, as well as, her brother Utimio Trujillo, her sister Anna Redwolf, eighteen grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

There will be a Celebration of Life held on July 14, 2017 at Bethel Community Church 415 I Street in Los Banos, CA 93635 at 11:00 am.

Any proceeds left over will be donated to the homeless of Los Banos, Ca in honor of Gloria Malvaez.
