On Tuesday afternoon Ralph got in to see his doctor at UC Davis because he hadn't been feeling well the past 2 weeks. Shortly after arriving they took him by ambulance to the main UC Davis hospital and admitted him with a temperature of 109, an infection in his leg, and kidney's that were not doing well. They thought he was stable but at 3am was transferred to the ICU. Although things are starting to seem stable now--he isn't getting worse--but he isn't really getting better as fast as they'd like. They discovered yesterday that he also now has Sepsis which they are treating. The doctors are "cautiously optimistic" but at this point we don't know how long he will be in the hospital. We are trying to help raise money to help with his bills and medical costs while he is out of work. Thank you all so much for continuing to reach out and ask how he is. It means a lot to his family.
