Rachel REALLY needs us

On July 23, 2019, Rachel was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma after an x-ray revealed a large mass in the center of her chest above her heart. She is just 28 years old, completed her Master’s degree one year ago, and is working within her community as a mental health counselor for children who have experienced trauma.  She spent her four years of college helping children and refugee families in her community. Rachel is one of the kindest, most joyful, positive people you will ever meet, and now she needs our help.

Hodgkins Lymphoma is said to be one of the most treatable and curable cancers, but the treatment will last six months or more and will involve intense rounds of chemo and possibly radiation. During treatment, Rachel will be unable to work. So we have set up this GoFundMe to help raise enough money to cover Rachel’s basic living and medical expenses not covered by insurance: rent, utilities, food, her annual insurance deductible, and a mistletoe therapy to boost her immune system.

We are asking each of you to give as little or as much as you can. Also please share this GoFundMe link with your circle of friends and family.  

Together, we can give her peace of mind and reduce her stress level by covering her expenses, which in itself will aid in her healing.
