Rae & Isa's Partnership Visa

We met at a non-profit in San Diego  five years ago (Invisible Children), and reconnected in 2016. Shortly after, we fell in love and Isa hopped on a flight to the other side of the globe to take Rach on their first date (and a killer road trip!). After a year of long-distance dating, 7 international flights, and thousands of Facetime calls and texts, Rachel moved to Australia in Oct of 2017 so we could experience more of life together. 

We now have a sweet little home filled with love and houseplants in Melbourne, and we are enjoying every single moment we spend side by side.

In order for Rach to stay permanently in Australia, we are lodging for a De Facto Partnership Visa in May 2018. The visa itself costs AUD $7000 and there is an additional AUD $1000 medical examination fee required. 

After the costs of an international move and setting up our home, we have worked to save AUD $2000 and just need help fundraising the remainder of the cost. And if you'd like to donate to help us stay in the same country, we won't leave you empty-handed (perks and prizes below)!

If you donate $25, we will mail you a hand-written card from Australia.

If you donate $50, we will mail a hand-written card and a personalised video.

If you donate $100, we will send you a small thoughtful gift from the two of us.

If you donate $150, we will send you a beautiful personalised painting/drawing!

If you donate $250, we will send you a beautiful ceramic mug or a locally made keep cup (which is a reuseable coffee mug), made in Melbourne and the best coffee beans in the world!

If you donate $350, we will hand-make you something special. Isa will teach you how to knit via Skype/Facetime*. We will also name one of our houseplants after you (and send you a picture of your new plant namesake).

If you donate $500, we will mail you two of our favourite poetry books along with some seeds from Isa’s homegrown sunflowers. Rach will give you a 2 hour lesson in film editing via Skype/Facetime*.

If you donate $1000, we will send you SO. MANY. THINGS. such as, a hand-written card, a personalised gift made in Melbourne, more poetry books, and a plant (if you are overseas fear not, we will find a way).

If you donate $3000, we will cry and name one of our future pets after you (pup to come someday soon). If/when you visit, we will also provide you a bedroom to stay in our sweet home with us! And if you decide a trip isn't for you, we will send you a package of goods made in Melbourne that surpasses your (and our) wildest dreams! Rachel will also probably get your name tattooed on their body (help Rach convince Isa on this one).
