I feel very lucky to be able to perform and travel as a full time musician and I've always wanted to find my own way of giving back and doing something bigger for the community I live in. The same community that helped cultivate and shape the life I have today.
While music can be a great gift to give to a friend or a loved one, there are children of all walk of life who could use the gift of music to make them smile, start new careers, and expand their horizons. Unfortunately, music education programs and musical instruments are not always available to people who truly need them and budget cuts always attack the art and music programs first.
So I've started The Music Projekt who will partner with Charity Music; a nonprofit public service organization, whose mission is to help cultivate the next upcoming crop of young artists by providing musical instruments, on loan, to homeless students, at- risk, and disadvantaged youth wishing to explore their hidden musical talents. To donate instruments, sheet music, concert tickets, and other music related items.
I hope you will help us reach our goal and I appreciate anything that you can do to help support this cause. Music is a very important part of my life and the world could sure use a lot more creative minds bringing this same joy to others. Thank you so much!!
