As you all well know I have been through a horrific time over the last few years. From breast cancer to all the after affects of living with such a disease. Memory loss, friends, family, partner, my house and my job. 3 years ago I was so unwell I had to move back in with my parents and I was bedridden in a hospital bed at home. I was told it was unlikely I’d walk again and the cancer had left me with an acquired brain injury and CRPS (Complex regional pain syndrome) which is degenerate and incurable. I may never have walked again let alone do what I have right now. 6 weeks ago I moved out of my parents house with my son (now 13) into my own disability friendly apartment, just up the road from my parents.
Don't get me wrong I’m far from ‘well’ but I’m trying. Now to add stress to the matter my benefits have not yet come through due to the change in address. I am told daily, just another 2 weeks however it’s now been 6 weeks. My rent is due again and I have no money coming in. Crisis loans no longer exist and I wouldn’t be able to use this for rent anyway.
Im on my knees, I can’t lose this place and want my son to be happy, secure and feel safe with me. To do that takes money, money that I just don’t have. Hopefully within the next few weeks this will be sorted however in the meantime I have nothing. I’ve tried every avenue and hate that I’m having to do this however I need help. If I have made you laugh over the years then please help and give whatever you can afford. I’m sorry to ask but this is my final Avenue and chance to KEEP my/our independence. Please help me through this rough patch and help me become a new and better independent person. I know the old me has gone, although the new me is walking, taking and trying my hardest to enjoy this transition with a little help from my friends Xx
