Dorie's Promise Mission Trip

I want to share with you a challenging ministry opportunity God has presented me. During
August 1- August 9, I will be going to Guatemala City, with a team from Valley Grace Brethren Church.
Our one-week trip will focus on an orphanage, local women workshops and a feeding center. The purpose of our trip is as followed:
*First, we will be allowing God to work in our lives through the personal enrichment that comes from this type of a mission trip.
*Second, work in San Antonio Aguas Calientes where they have workshops for local women and will be assisting at a local preschool.
*Third, we will be working at Guatemala City Feeding Center where 260 children are fed daily.
* Fourth, we will be working at Dorie's Promise. This is an orphanage that provides a holistic environment meeting the physical, educational, and spiritual needs of children.
I'm excited about the opportunity and experience that lie ahead. I hope you see the value in what we will accomplish. As you can imagine, a trip like this requires financial support from a number of people. I need to raise $1,600 by May 31st. If you can support me in a financial way, I would be very grateful. And, most importantly, I also need your prayer support. Prayer is the fuel that will allow us to be successful as we follow God's leading in ministry in these countries. Without prayer, nothing will happen.
While money is important, it comes in a distant second to my need for your prayer support. Since prayer
support is so important to the success of this mission, I would like to know if I can count on you. Please pray daily for this area.

Nuestro viaje de una semana se centrará en un orfanato, talleres de mujeres locales y un centro de alimentación. El propósito de nuestro viaje es como lo siguiente:
* Primero, Permitiremos que Dios obre en nuestras vidas a través del enriquecimiento personal que proviene de este tipo de un viaje de misión.
* Segundo, trabajaremos en San Antonio Aguas Calientes donde hay talleres para mujeres de la localidad y ayudaremos en un preescolar local.
* Tercero, estaremos trabajando en el Centro de Alimentación de Guatemala donde 260 niños son alimentados diariamente.
* Cuarto, estaremos trabajando en La Promesa de Dorie. Este es un orfanato que proporciona las necesidades de los niños con una reunión holística, físico, educacional y espiritual.
Estoy emocionada por la oportunidad y experiencia que se avecinan. Espero que vean el valor con lo que lo lograremos. Como se pueda imaginar, un viaje como éste requiere apoyo financiero de un número de personas. Necesito recaudar $1,600 antes del 31 de Mayo. Si usted me puede apoyar de forma financiera, estaría muy agradecida. Y, lo más importante, también necesito su apoyo de oración. La oración es el combustible que permite que seamos exitosos como líderes de Dios en el Ministerio en estos países. Sin oración, no pasaría nada.
Mientras que el dinero es importante, no toma el primer lugar a mi necesidad de su apoyo de oración. Como la oración es tan importante para el éxito de esta misión, me gustaría saber si puedo contar con ustedes en esa zona. Por favor recen diariamente por las zonas indicadas
