Medical care for Moya- Family pet

My name is Elliott, and this is Moya.
Moya lived with us on our farm, herding goats and cows, watching the road, and being that extra bit of help we always needed.
Last year we sold our farm, leaving us with a farmless farm dog, though a very adaptable one. She's traveled the central US with us, and made three forays into the Boundry Waters, carrying her own food, and being there, along with her daughter.
Over the past few days, Moya has been a bit lacking in energy, and we'd finally noticed that she wasn't eating, though since she's had Lyme's disease we pegged her lack of energy on that. But to be safe, mom and dad took her to the vet this afternoon.
It turns out she appears to have Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia. It is an autoimmune disorder that causes the body to attack the white blood cells.
The hospital started her on a course of treatment, and she's staying there tonight. The vet said she's doing better than a lot of dogs she's seen, still alert, but dehydrated.
That being said, they're giving her about a 50/50 chance of pulling through.
There isn't a clear cause, nothing we've done in the past year fits as a primary cause. She just finished up a month in the Arrowhead of Minnesota with us, doing two canoe trips, and a three day backpacking trip. She did well for her age and training, and was fine even as recently as our return to Madison four days ago.
We're praying for her healing and recovery.
The challenge for us is that funds are tight. We weren't expecting anything like this. We're still getting back on our feet after selling our farm last year, so this is really going to stretch us.
The vet says treatment for this can run as high as $5000.00 any donations will go straight towards her care, and hopefull complete recovery.
Any help would be sincerely appreciated.
