Surgery for Treat
Donation protected
On Tuesday, October 27th, we were alerted to the plight of two 5-week-old kittens that had been thrown from a moving car in Salt Lake City. Because they were black and orange, and we found them so close to Halloween, we named them Trick (black) and Treat (orange).
They were evaluated by the caring staff at the Animal Care Center in Bountiful, but Trick's injuries were just far too extensive, and he had to be euthanized. Treat has made great progress, but he requires the amputation of his left hind leg. The cost of this procedure is estimated at $1,400, a sum we are simply incapable of supporting alone.
His is surgery is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 4th, but unless we can offset the majority of this cost, he will have to be euthanized. Please consider donating to save this poor kitty from the fate that the callous individuals who so easily discarded him intended.
