Facebook and Twitter just destroyed the ability for the alternative media to spread articles. In a single motion, hundreds of amazing pages with tens of millions of combined followers were wiped out of existence.
Among these are Police the Police, the Anti-Media, the Free Thought Project, and more.
These websites and organizations put in years of work to show ordinary people what was truly going on in the world.
They continue to report on critically important issues deliberately left out of the mainstream media, and to preserve what they have built in the past several years, they need our help.
This GoFundMe is for the creation of The Alternative Media Carrier, a vehicle to spread the articles of alternative media websites that have been censored, and help the alternative media stay in good shape through all the censorship.
The Alternative Media Carrier will set up shop in cities across America, like a newsstand for your favorite alternative media websites.
Not only will we try to organically drive traffic to the alternative media websites, but we will do it on foot, the old fashioned way.
We will print out articles that are published every day, hitting the streets to give people physical copies of articles that will be increasingly difficult to find on those social media networks we have becomes so dangerously dependent on.
Not only can we put in work to rejuvenate people's desire to read physical publications and become less dependent on taxing social media, but traffic can be driven to the still active websites that no longer have social media platforms.
We can help the websites that have been censored get paid subscribers who will support them through all this.
If we want to preserve this mechanism for spreading the truth and keep what we've created alive, we need to get active and start spreading news the old fashioned way.

- Alternative Media Carrier locations in cities across America, and hopefully around the world, where you can pick up a paper from a newsstand.
- Compensation for the efforts of Alternative Media Carrier workers, people on foot handing out articles

The objective of the Alternative Media Carrier is to put in work, to rebuild organic, street-level, real contact between the people who read alternative media, and the media itself. Our objective is to help cement a culture of thinkers and readers, that cannot be destroyed through censorship.
We are going to drive traffic to alternative media websites online, and physically print out articles by websites linked up with us, releasing daily publications that combine all sorts of alternative media into one sizable, true chunk of information.
Our daily aggregated, printed out publication will be available at Alternative Media Carrier locations across America, with real people handing them out if we can get this going. We’re looking at starting with Houston, Texas, San Francisco, California, and a few other locations.
People have gotten a little complacent with the ability to use social media. In the past, people would go out of their way to visit websites and read news on their own, and people would get actual newspapers. We have to rejuvenate this collective ability to put in effort, when we search for information.
Contributing to a thriving, strong culture of people actively reading, thinking, and seeking truth, things that are deemed controversial or too conspiratorial for the mainstream, the AMC has been founded.
We invite members of what we call the Alternative Media to join up with us, contact us and we'll figure out how to drive traffic to your website, and also physically print your articles, to hand out in cities across America. The process of approval for joining up with us will be as minimal as possible, as unbiased as possible but with good taste and much thought.
