In the arms of the Angels

Donation protected
Heaven inherited another angel on August 10, 2018, and her name is Chelsea Raez Knox.    Chelsea was a fun loving, charismatic girl with a heart bigger than this world could sustain.  In so many ways, she was bigger than the life she lived.  Chelsea never knew a stranger, was never shy, and brought so much laughter to those who knew her through her witty sense of humor and her humility; a raw sort of humility that is all too uncommon in today's world.  She loved her family very much, and in ways that only those that knew her could understand.  At times, Chelsea lived a life of merely sustaining....struggling with the life shattering consequences of bi-polar disorder, and all that that may imply.

Her love for animals played a big part in her life.  Whether feeding stray cats, bringing mistreated animals home, or raising a stray raccoon from infancy, she never thought twice about caring for an animal, even in times when she herself had to sacrifice to do so.

It has been said that the definition of true humility is to stand at ones own height, neither taller nor stooping, all the while knowing your worth as well as the smallness of your greatness.   This is what Chelsea demonstrated to so many of us, and is  something we can all take away from the privilege of knowing and loving her.

Chelsea's life was cut short, unexpectedly, at the age of 28.  She had little income, and at the age of 28, like so many of us, no funeral plans in place.  As her family, we are experiencing not only despair, but financial hardship as well in this difficult time.   Any money raised would be appreciated more than we could ever convey, and would assuredly be earmarked for her arrangements and the tidying up of loose ends that are inevitable during this difficult time.

Please know that we are ever so grateful for even the time you have just taken from your busy life to get a glimpse of our sweet girl.

For any of you who have struggled with, know someone who is struggling with, or simply know of the devastation of addition in our world today.... we ask, in Chelsea's memory:  don't give up, don't give in, don't judge...and keep God in the forefront.  We are never alone....
