Nurse Robert’s Fight Against Cancer

My partner, Robert Keshishian, was diagnosed with testicular cancer in July that has spread to his abdominal and chest lymph nodes. It has been an extremely trying year. Prior to this diagnosis, he contracted the Covid-19 virus while working in the ER as a nurse. After he recovered, what started off as pain and hardening in his testicle, resulted in the cancer diagnosis, surgical removal and months of needing chemotherapy. During the initial time of his diagnosis (which entailed numerous scans and labs), he was uninsured due to being new at the hospital where he works. This has brought on numerous medical bills.

We have also been talking about having a child for some time now and are very optimistic about it. Thanks to the Livestrong Foundation, we have been able to freeze some sperm at a lowered cost, but it has still been very costly. The emotional, financial, and physical despair that come with this disease is debilitating.

Robert also financially takes care of his mother. Furthermore, as if things could not get any worse, his father passed away 2 days ago...which is right before he starts his fight with chemo.

Robert never asks for ANYTHING from ANYONE. He is the kindest, most loving, and most generous soul I know. Anyone who knows him would, without a doubt, say that he never fails to step up and go beyond for his people. On top of that, he is a very hardworking and caring nurse who dedicates his life to helping others. 

Robert has so much more left to give to others and so much life left in him. Any help, no matter the amount, will be greatly appreciated from the bottom of our hearts!
