My name is Mary Townsend. This fundraiser is for my friend and colleague, Jenn Nguyen, who lives in Houston, Texas. I have known for over 20 years. All proceeds will go to her medical fund.
She was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 Inflammatory Breast Cancer. She is still in shock over illness and may not have reached out to many people. Doing a little research, I found out that inflammatory breast cancer is a rare form of breast cancer and only makes up about less than 5 percent of cases in the United States.
She is a single mother, sister, daughter, friend, guidance counselor, relationship advisor, and comedienne (at times) to many people. She has a teenage daughter to care for and this news has devastated her. She is concerned about the medical expenses, loss of income and all the stresses of managing her illness. Cancer treatment is expensive, and medical insurance only pays for a part of the expenses. She will be out of work for some of the time during her treatment.

Prayers appreciated and no contribution is too small to make an impact. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I pray that the Lord, her friends and her family will give her hope, and comfort in her long battle to fight breast cancer.
