HELP! Our Mom is being murdered!

Donazione protetta
I am not sure what I need to write to make this modern  day Genie lamp work so I am just going to describe the events that have led me to this point and hope that there is at least one  wish left. I need help and if you have any too offer,  my sister and I would be  very grateful. My name is Becky and I am writing this with my sister, Teri.
Cancer is a murderer,  as too many people have discovered, and it has set its sights on our mother. While we realize that her name is on a very long list of people being attacked, hers (Alice Faye Sumrell), is obviously, the one that concerns us most.  We do, however, wish the best for all the other names on the aforementioned list.
We have been taking care of our mother since she had a stroke three years ago. She was fortunate to recover from that and had not had any other major medical issues until this past summer. In June we began taking her to her regular doctor and, eventually, several others until we were finally given a diagnoses of stage 4 cervical cancer.
At her age, curing it at this stage is not something the doctors see as possible. Our primary goal is to make her as comfortable as we can for whatever time she has left and the doctors gave her a time range of  4 to 18 months depending on how well she responds to the treatments. The countdown began in July. We will do everything we can to make her last months not only comfortable but happy. The doctors decided that a round of radiation treatments followed by a round of chemotherapy would benefit her by shrinking the tumor and stopping her bleeding. She has already had two transfusions so that sounded like a good idea.
We live about thirty minutes away from the doctor's office and the treatment center so it is too far out to get there by any means other than a personal vehicle. The only reliable transportation we had is my sister's car. Unfortunately, before we could complete the treatments, the car died (engine block cracked). We had to beg strangers for help to even get home we were rescued by another daughter who was with her mother and I sincerely hope she knows how grateful we were.
So far, we have been unable to find substitue transportation even after trying for a month and a half. We cannot afford the cost of repairing the car (approx. $4800 ) or the cost of buying another. We can get a ride occassionally but not regular enough to procede with her treatments.
I know that times are hard for a lot of people and no one has extra funds during the holiday season but we cannot wait. This really is a matter of life and death even if that life is only a matter of months..
We need help now. We need a car. It does not have to be a great car, just a RELIABLE one that will not leave us stranded again.
A few weeks ago we were trying to plan a happy Christmas for her, in case it is her last one, now ALL we want is to get is a car so that she at least has a chance of one more Christmas.
PLEASE, help us. If we do not find help soon I am afraid that we will run out of time.
Every donation, no matter the size, will be greatly appreciated (especially if it is the size and shape of a car).
No gift you give this season will be appreciated more. If you cannot make a donation, and even if you do, we are asking you to please pass this link on to as many others as you can. We are grateful to everyone who has taken the time to read this and we truly wish you and your families the happiest holiday ever. Thank you.
