Tippy the Blind Redskins Park Cat

Donation protected
Tippy was just a little kitten when he was found at the Redskins Park practice facility. Park management called the Humane Society of Loudoun County for help spaying and neutering the 10 cat colony, and HART took Tippy into their adoption program. He was neutered and given all vaccines with no issues. However, when Tippy developed a polyp in his ear, he needed surgery a second time. While under anesthesia, Tippy went into cardiac arrest and nearly died. He was resuscitated , but as a result of lack of oxygen to the brain he is now functionally blind. Surprisingly, this hasn't prevented him from enjoying life, not one bit! He's made huge progress and navigates stairs and litterboxes amazingly well! He also loves attention and more often than not we find ourselves cuddling him just to listen to him purr. So- now for the bad news. Tippy's original surgery was rushed because he was dying on the table....now his polyp has grown back.   Because of his adverse reaction to anesthesia the last time, he needs a cardio workup as well as a vet anesthesia specialist to monitor him while he is having surgery this time.   Ka Ching!!! The cost is too much for any organization to handle, but we cannot give up on this wonderful one yr old cat. He's just a baby and he's overcome so much already! He's smart, he's sweet, and he doesn't let his disability get in his way . Please consider donating for this amazing little guy's surgery.    Tippy is sponsored by HART and the Humane Society of Loudoun County, both 501c3 non-profit organizations.

Thanks so much!
