Deb's DMV Debacle

The story so far...Deb got pulled over on Christmas Day as an OUI. She blew way below the state's legal limit, .03 & .02 as opposed to .08, the state's legal limit. Regardless they booked her and sat her in the BPD for 5 hours. On Christmas Day. In Brewster.
The next day, 12/26, she got a call from the Chief of Police in Brewster who apologized to her for an obvious false arrest, all charges were dropped. But she still had to pay for her truck impound. $200 out of pocket.
But the DMV refuses to release her license back to her. They're looking for paperwork from her doctor, which her insurance doesn't cover. Another $200 out of pocket.
It looks like this could become a huge battle and she's afraid she might have to hire a lawyer. Thus, this fund. We're hoping to raise enough for a mortgage payment and car payment or two and hopefully cover some legal fees. But anything will help her out. She's a private CNA, she need her truck or she can't work. Usually it's 90 days license suspension from the DMV and I know I couldn't make three months without work, not sure who could. And again, ALL CHARGES HAVE BEEN DROPPED!
So anything you can donate will help, even if we just raise enough for the impoundment and doctor's bill, that would be a huge help. We need Deb out there taking pictures of nature, helping her elderly patients and getting her life back to normal because we love her to the moon and back.
