"A grim reaper meets a man who cheats death and becomes his friend."

Film Synopsis:
A grim reaper among the human population passes her time by telling people it’s their dying day. Just as she’s about to tell a man it’s time for his demise, they are able to cheat death in the last second. In a weird turn of events they befriend each other. When the higher-ups say it’s his time to go, Grim can’t bring herself to do it.

We are raising money for the production of our film that will be shot in the Monterey Bay area in October of 2019. All proceeds raised will be put only towards our expenses associated with the film:

-Equipment Rentals
-Shooting Locations
-Craft Services on set
-Other expendables

This is a student made film, however, we are dedicated to making this film at the highest quality possible. In order for that to happen, we need a good amount of financial support.

No donation is too small to help, and we appreciate in advance any support and donations that are given. All donations of $100 or more will receive film credit in the final cut of the film which will be premiering in Winter of 2019.

Mariel Lim: Writer/Director of Grim - My name is Mariel Lim. I am a Cinematic Arts and Technology student at Cal State Monterey Bay. I currently work as a social media intern where I am able to apply my knowledge of cameras, film, photography and editing to create engaging content for the Otter Student Union. Growing up, I’ve always spent my time reading and writing and wishing the words on paper could come to life and in film we are able to do just that.
