Young Starr MOVEMENT Inc.
is a community-based organization attempting to moderate the negative impacts of domestic violence, homelessness, and sexual abuse on women, men, and children in New York City.
Young Starr Movement Inc. is the ONLY non for profit on the Planet, that utilizes Music as our platform to Educate, Uplift and inspire some one who has suffered Domestic Violence, sexual abuse.
Founder Young Starr has personally experienced everything that this organization represents. Young Starr suffered many years of mental and physical abuse from a man she trusted and loved, she knew her story needed to be told. Liberating herself from shame by telling the world, she discovered she was not alone. Passionate about reaching out and helping others, she established the Young Starr Movement.
Our primary mission is to raise awareness about detrimental issues in our community such as gender violence and discrimination, domestic abuse and punishment, crimes against homeless people, and the importance of personal and emotional security and stability.
Through our programs, events and activities we are able to promote and inspire awareness, positive self-esteem, love and understanding as well as an aspiration for collective and individual engagement to help others.
ON Friday October 11, 2019 Young Starr Movement will be having a FREE outdoor event @ Foley Square Park NYC 3:00 p.m- 7:00 p.m
SPEAKERS Panel. A day of Unity, Love and LIVE MUSIC.
In order to CAHNGE a life, and provide perspective understanding, Love, hope and inspiration to those in NEED, these events have costs.
Currently, Young Starr Movement receives no Federal, State, or corporate sponsorship in order to cover the costs associated to have these FREE outdoor LIFE changing events.
OPEN your heart, by giving ANY amount to help us help others in NEED. If we can CHANGE the perspective of ONE person, that in itself is LIFE CHANGING. Help us any AMOUNT is appreciated.
