*Attention Please*

So I recently stumbled upon a property here in Cincinnati that will go on auction January 9, 2019. It is a greenhouse nursery. This foreclosed property would be the perfect home for Quiwi Produce Farm to expand and grow. The auction starting price is $134,000. I would like to raise the money to buy this property.

Can "We the People" raise money to build a hydroponics farm to feed and educate the people? I need $150K before January 7th to bid on a foreclosed Greenhouse property that’s up for auction. An Example If 15,000 people gave $10 or 7500 people gave $20 the goal would be met in no time. All donations are tax deductible. No amount given is too small.

The property I would like to purchase has multiple greenhouses that I plan to use for hydroponics/aquaponics growing, teaching, be able to offer jobs to the community, provide fresh food, combat food deserts, offer after school programs there etc. If you can help me raise the $150K to cover the auction price plus fees I would be grateful. Thank you in advance.

ALL DONATIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE!

What is Quiwi Produce?

Quiwi Produce  is an urban farm that was start in 2013 but was not officially name until 2014 founded by Nadia Ruffin. It was created to combat one of many food deserts in the Cincinnati area. In many neighborhoods people do not have access to fresh produce because there are no grocery stores. As a results the health and wellbeing of these individuals suffers because they are forced to eat unhealthy food. There was also an outcry from people who wanted to grow their own food but did not know how or thought they could not because of where they lived (i.e. an apartment).

What is our goal?
Quiwi Produce envisions a transformed food system in which every citizen in Cincinnati has access to safe, nutritious, and affordable food grown by a local farm. In Cincinnati 25% of the population does not have access to fresh fruits and vegetables because they live in low income communities that are known as food deserts. By creating Quiwi Produce we hope to adopt a sustainable, local food system that will enhance human and animal health, preserve the environment and educate the masses on good urban agricultural practices.

Cincinnati, Ohio, like many cities in the United States, faces health and environmental challenges, including the obesity and diabetes epidemics and the contamination of soil, water, and air.  There is also a limited space to farm. There has been a plea from consumers to find out where their food comes from. Quiwi Produce has the potential to deliver a multitude of benefits:
• Promote healthy eating
• Reduce fuel consumption
• Preserves greenspace and farmland by utilizing hydroponics/aquaponics in indoor operations and utilizing empty lots in the city
• Eliminate the use of harmful pesticides
• Build local economies
• Create new jobs in the future
• Teach urban farming techniques
