Help Ashley get to San Diego for the Holiday Bowl!

About the Beneficiary ~ My granddaughter has an opportunity to travel to San Diego this winter to participate in the Holiday Bowl with her Cheer Squad.  What an awesome trip if would be for Ashley (from Alaska!) and her teammates!  But she needs to earn the funds to be able to go.

About the Quilt Raffle ~ I have begun making a quilt to raffle off on Ashley's behalf (I am her grandmother, and an exceptional quilter).  The quilt (pictured in progress) is made by me, a quilter with 18+ years of experience... pieced, sandwiched and quilted.  The pattern is called "Prairie Flower", and it is created with all 100% cotton fabric, batting and backing.  Even the thread is 100% cotton.  The fabric is scrumptious!  Not your WalMart or big box store fabric, but purchased from a local quilt shop and you can FEEL the quality.  This quilt measures approximately 64" x 78" ~ so an "oversized" twin size.  This is a one-of-a-kind quilt, and your opportunity to own it just as fall and winter approach!  There will never be another like this, and the donation goes to help my granddaughter have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to shine at a national bowl game!

The quilt is not quite done, but it will be prior to the raffle!  I will even add photos as it progresses.  The raffle goes from October 12, 2018 until November 18, 2018.  The drawing, which will be on video and uploaded here, will be November 19, 2018, 8:00 p.m.  The winner will be notified via Facebook and/or email.  The winner is responsible for insured shipping costs, if necessary.

Donations of $20 or more will receive the opportunity to win this lovely quilt.  (if you pledge $25, still one chance, if you pledge $40, 2 chances)  You cannot buy a quilt of this quality at any store.  There are dozens of hours of work put into this beauty, and it is well worth hundreds of dollars!  You get the chance to own it for $20!  And all funds go for a worthy cause!
