Quest to Nationals

The Fight Team is heading into a BIG summer season with 5 tournaments ahead of them in the next few month.  First up is USA Nationals, the first week of July, in Detroit, MI.  All of the team members will be attending and we anticipate great results.  Last year we had five athletes do so well that they were invited to tryout for Team USA!  Our team Captain, Chloe Towns made it all the way to the top and is a current member of Team USA.  She was there representing the country (and Quest) in the Jr. World Championships last fall!  In previous years Kamille Carbon and Tyler Tabil made it onto Team USA as cadets.  Kamille even went to Russia for the Cadet World Championships!  This year we hope they will all make team!  
Directly following USA Nationals, some of our members will be flying off to Ft. Lauderdale for AAU Nationals.  We have two existing AAU National Team members, RJ Moore and ChloeTowns.   AAU Team members participate in international tournaments.  RJ went to Spain last year!  The medalists at Nationals secure their spots in team trials for both USAT and AAU.  Team trails are coming in the fall. (In Colorado and Florida.)
As you can imagine the costs associated with the preparation, training and travel can be quite significant.  For instance, next week four of the athletes and our coach, Master Vargas will be in Mexico City, training with the Mexican National Team at their Olympic training facility.  We would have LOVED to bring them all, but sadly could not afford to do it.  The athletes self-fund these trips and tournaments, so they simply can't afford to do all of them.
