Queng Reyles Treatment Fund
Our friend, Queng is an arts manager, working with an educational theater company in the Philippines. She has worked on several advocacy campaigns such as children's rights, childhood cancer awareness, violence against women and children, and more recently, the rehabilitation of the Pasig River. Queng is also a writer whose works have touched hundreds of lives.
Just recently, she was diagnosed with Stage 4 kidney cancer with metastases on both lungs. The disease is daunting, and the path to wellness will be a laborious uphill climb. But Queng has always been a fighter, she is one of the strongest, most courageous women we know. We firmly believe she will put up a good fight to beat this. But she cannot do this on her own. She will need the best care possible from the ministrations of her family, her friends, and definitely, with the aid of medical treatment.
The days ahead will surely be difficult for her and her family. We, a small group of her friends, feel that at this time, money should be the least of their concerns. We urge you, therefore, to help us. Knowing that time is of the essence, we need to accumulate at least half a million pesos (roughly USD10,000.00) to fund her initial treatments within the next thirty days. We would appreciate any amount you can donate and if you are unable to dole out, please consider sharing this site on your social media accounts. The more who know about our fight, the better we will all be able to support my friend. Prayers, positive and healing thoughts are always welcome.

All funds raised will be towards the medical and treatment-related expenses for Queng Reyles which are currently intended to be done in the Philippines. She is currently in consultation with doctors/oncologists to decide to the best and most affordable pathway for treatment and wellness. We will post regular updates, including treatment and, for purpose of transparency, we will make fund disbursement reports available to all donors.
