Quarantine Area Repairs

Tax deductible
Jersey State Animal Rescue (a 501c3 organization) has an outbuilding that we use to house cats when they first come into our rescue and are quarantined until they are fully vetted.  This building used to be a garage for a race car and was not originally built to be a climate controlled livable space.  The race car is long gone and we have modified it to use for our animals over the years.  Unfortunately, the garage door leaks very badly when it rains.  The garage floor floods any time we have a hard rain and it takes quite a bit of time and effort to clean it up.  As you can see from the photo,  we have tried blocking the area where the rain comes in but have not been successful.

We have a contractor who has generously agreed to replace the garage door with a wall and windows for $2200.  This will prevent future flooding and create a more pleasant space with an outside view and windowsill for the cats.  It will also weatherproof the garage for all conditions and allow our heat and air condition to stay inside instead of leaking outside all the time.

We would appreciate any help that you can  give us to make this greatly needed repair happen.
