*UPDATE* Congratulations, TheSpudHunter will find his way to the promised land of QuakeCon. As the original goal was solely for transportation, donations beyond this amount will go towards food and other incidental expenses. Thank you all so much for the support and love!!!!!
TheSpudHunter as an individual is not only a pillar of the Quake Champions presence on Twitch, but also one of the leading voices of the Oceanic scene. He is a vital asset to the Quake community and has bolstered the scene with his wit, production values, and the operation of community centric events during the absence of officially sanctioned ones. The goal is to drive a community push to get this behemoth to QuakeCon 2018, as circumstance does not allow for him to make it to Dallas from his bunker in Australia.
To show my commit to getting Spud out to QuakeCon I'll be doing a 24 hour stream Friday 6/22/18 at 8PM EDT on www.twitch.tv/IamFortyLions as well as putting in my own $500 to get things started!
TL;DR This is a call to arms for all the Quakers out there. Lets get Spud to QuakeCon 2018!
