Nadia is a loving single mom of an amazing eight-year-old boy. She has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer.
Nadia's mother had this same cancer and succumbed to it leaving Nadia motherless at almost the same age as Nadia’s son is now. The notion that Nadia’s son would have to go through what she went through at such a young age, having her son go through his formative years without a mother because she lost the battle with cancer is an unbearable thought. Making this seem even more insurmountable is the loss of several family members in the span of 5 months . Nadia suffered through the recent deaths of her Dad, Stepmom, Grandma, and Aunt, all in 2016, leaving her alone to care for her son without the support of a loving extended family.
Nadia knows from firsthand experience what it means to lose a mother at a young age that even the thought of it is a pain too excruciating to bear.
It is this realization which fuels her DRIVE and WILL to defeat this cancer so she can continue to be there for her son.
Nadia has a tremendously big heart in caring for others, she always been there for people in need, she started several community groups to support single parents, entrepreuners and spiritual groups all while working full-time and caring for her child, but now she needs us to be there for her.
Nadia is pursuing alternative avenues and healing methods to help conquer the cancer she has.
This is where Nadia, a wonderful person and amazing mother to a young boy, needs our help and support to help cover expenses as she seeks treatments that are not covered by Western Medicine OHIP and deals with the fallout of this devastating disease.
As a single mom her income is seriously impacted by this turn of events as she deals with the treatments and side effects that will undoubtably be a part of the ordeal.
Any funds raised will go to helping Nadia provide for her son and pursue treatments not otherwise covered or offered by our medical establishment.
