Help Me Publish my Book

I have written a story set in the mid 1990s, about a boy who has two interests in life: buses, and a girl in his class. He knows he's not like the other children in his school, but has no idea why. His mother and teachers find him somewhat difficult, his classmates see him as an object of ridicule. He has high functioning autism, but nobody knows, not even himself, because there was little awareness of high functioning autism then.

The book follows a weekend with Tom, a weekend which will change his life forever. It shows his struggles with the everyday world. It shows that Autism is far more than what "Rain Man" depicts, and its dedicated to everyone who has struggled with life not knowing they are on the autism spectrum. 

I need £1,900 in order for publication to go ahead. If this campaign is successful then I will donate a percentage of my royalties from the book to an Autism charity of my choosing.

Autism is something close to my heart, it affects many of my friends and family. There will never be a cure, but there will always be understanding and support.
