no insurance

I was admitted to the hospital due to complications from gastric bypass. The opening for food to go thru had closed up 98%. I had gone from 178 lbs to 124 in a matter of 2 weeks. I was getting no food or liquids. The hospital kept me for 5 days. They put in a stent to open up the area.  My problem is, I have no health insurance. I tried to go into clinic yesterday to find out why my feet r now swelling. Since I have no ins., the wanted $200 up front b 4 I could see my dr. I marched right out of the clinic. I've been trying to apply for ins, but Mediacom keeps going down on us and can't get on line. Doesn't look like 2019 is going to be a good year for me. I'm not even sure how much the bill is going to b. I've already gotten a bill for$2400 from the gastronologist. There will b a bill from the anathesologist,  surgeon and the hospital. I'm thinking $10,000 is a bit low.
