Hello Friends and Family
As many of you know, my sister, Theresa Wolven was diagosed with brain cancer. While Theresa was strong, brave and endured brain surgery to remove the majority of the brain tumor on January 11, 2016, she has long, painful, and financial challenging journey ahead of her.
As you will read, Medulloblastoma, is a very rare cancer espesically for someone Theresa's age. Her fight will continue with weeks of radiation to her brain and spine and chemotherapy to follow.
As a single mom, Theresa has 2 amazing boys she continues to support. Brendan (11th grade) and Conner (9th grade) whose dad died when they were very young.
Our modest (short-term) goal is to raise $10,000 to help with her medical expenses. While this is a conservative amount for Theresa's challenge ahead, we are all hopefull she will be strong enough to return to work in the next couple of weeks as she is the only caregiver for her teenage boys. As many of you know, Theresa is a very determined individual with a colorful personality. She will NOT be defeated by brain cancer!!
I am the youngest of six and have been so lucky to have my older siblings protect, guide and support me. Please help me support Theresa.
