This fund was created by Sage’s mother Josephine Blea, brothers Abel & Joseph Gonzalez, and her sister in law Clarissa Esqueda. All proceeds will go towards Sage's medical expenses.
On Wednesday May 8th, 2019 in the early hours of the morning Sage Gonzalez was hospitalized when she began to convulse in pain and unable to breath. She was immediately rushed to the emergency room at Palomar Hospital where the medical staff began testing.
It did not take long for them to decide that she would need to be admitted and would not be going home. A full panel of blood testing, CAT scans, and ultra sounds were ordered by the doctors. After testing the results came in as Pulmonary Embolism, a potentionaly deadly condition where blot clots travel to the lungs. Sage has several blood clots in her lungs and two large clots, thus the chance of survival is only 20%. On Thursday, May 9th a blood clot traveled to her heart and Sage had a heart attack which nearly took her life.
Now we need your help so we can get Sage what she needs to get better. Sage does not have health insurance and will need all the help she can get to help with medication and medical expenses to save her life and heal her. Her immediate family is vigilantly working to help her. We are hoping her friends and family can help out in anyway even with a prayer.
