Support for Novalie & her Family

On March 31st, my good friends Bob and Daphne McKenney brought their 8 month old Novalie to a doctor's visit in Duluth after she had been having some health issues. Before she could even leave the waiting room, she had a seizure, promting many tests including CT scans and a spinal tap, and eventually this little sweetie had to be brought to Children's Hospital in a helicoptor. After an MRI the doctors found 2 abscess pockets in her brain along with a few small clots of blood. She is sedated now with a breathing tube, awaiting brain surgery for what they have determined is a bacterial brain infection. I implore you to help these wonderful, sweet, kind people in this time of desperate need. They live around 4 hours from the hospital, so between travel, food, board, and possibly childcare, plus Bob having to take time off work, this little family could really use the help of our community. My own personal story of the McKenneys is one of a family who would truly give you their very last if they knew you needed it. I could write an entire book detailing the ways this family has helped me through the last year, but I will keep it short and sweet, and just ask you all from the bottomof my heart to help in any way you can.
