Hi all,
My family is currently going through a hardship and are asking for your help.
Earlier this year my brother, Mike, had been having heart conditions. We had just thought it was that. However, since he did not have good insurance, he could not afford to go to a hospital that could better suit him and his needs regarding his health. At the time he was not eating, was not drinking, and we were so worried. We transferred him to another hospital for better care, and there he later got surgery.
We thought that may have been it and that he'd recover soon but we were hit with more bad news. My brother had cancer. We didn't know how far it was in yet, but we got the news that he had cancer. A couple weeks later we find out it's stage 4 colon cancer.
This left our family extremely heartbroken. We were sad, furious that hospitals prior this one did not diagnose this, despite how many times my brother has been to the hospital. And now we ask for your help.
I've started this GoFundMe for my brother because he is a father to two kids. Mike is only 35 years old. He has had to leave work because of his condition, and being able to support his family is difficult on top of having to pay for any treatment. Donating to this fund will help with chemo treatments and supporting his families. We urgently ask for your help, anything will help us.
I thank you guys for reading this, and thank all of you for your help. If you cannot, I urge you to share this with your friends and family, as this is a difficult time for us right now. I hope there is a day where no one ever has to ask for help regarding this, I don't wish to see anyone have to suffer this as well.
