The Australian media has failed to report the deleterious affects the disaster has had on the people and the nation. It has been reported that the issue is predicted to continue for another two weeks, only exacerbating the state of the people and the country. What Peru needs right now is international support, support from you. A donation as little as $5 can truly make a difference in rectifying the situation. All the proceeds will be given to Caritas Peru in an attempt to rebuild homes, schools, roads, infrastructure etc. Overall, the donations will provide basic necessities for those who have been left with nothing, and aid the nation with the recovery process as it is greatly needed.
