Hi Grande Prairie,

I recently came across an article in the Grande Prairie Daily Herald Tribune that was detailing the recent theft of poppy boxes from the city.

According to Mr. Moe Morgan more than 20 poppy boxes have been stolen this year.  The funds that are placed in these poppy boxes go towards various veteran programs.

I am creating this gofundme page in hopes to raise at least $1000 that will be donated to the Grande Prairie Royal Legion Branch.  I hope that these funds will cover the funds that were lost due to the theft of the poppy boxes.

There is no question that veterans of the past and present have always put their lives at risk to fight for the freedom of our lives.  The least that we can do is come together as a community and show the appreciation that we have for our veterans. 

Whether its $1 or more, every single dollar counts towards a cause that we can all rally behind.
