Suzana Mae Ayo
Suzana Mae Ayo is 28 years old and the mother of a 7-year-old son named Terrance. She accepted our Lord Jesus Christ as her personal God and Savior since the age of 7. Everyone thought that Suzana was completely healthy since she never felt any signs or symptoms of Kidney problems until July 22nd, 2015 when she felt a sudden severe pain in her abdomen and was not even able walk on her own. She was rushed to the nearest hospital and underwent numerous tests. When the results came back, everyone was shocked when her attending Doctor revealed that Suzana was in Stage 5 kidney failure. The Doctor said, the only way for her to survive is either to have a kidney transplant or go through a lifetime of dialysis. Upon learning of her condition, she, her family and her friends have prayed to God for an answer since her family could not afford to pay for the treatment and have nowhere to turn in order to get the money. Insurance had agreed to pay for the surgery itself, but not the medications and treatments needed afterwards to make sure her body does not reject the new kidney. Without the money to pay for the treatments afterwards, the hospital will not do the surgery.
The fight to win
Suzana has spent the last three and a half years struggling through painful and long dialysis sessions. Dialysis consisted of 4 to 5 hour treatments two times a week, on top of her doctor’s appointments. She now will have a second lease on life because of a generous live donor, her sister. Suzana has been deprived of living her life to the fullest as she has struggled with other related illnesses that are associated with Kidney failure. She has been blessed with the opportunity to begin her life again with this gift of a transplant. Suzana looks forward to being able to make more memories with her son Terrance.
Taking up the cause
Suzana’s Sister Liza and I her soon to be Brother in Law and family in Christ, have decided to signup in Go Fund Me hoping and praying to raise funds for "Suzana May Ayo" so she can finally get her kidney transplant as soon as possible. Without help, Suzana will likely never be able to afford the treatment and will have to continue dialysis until her money runs out.
Where the money is going
Every cent is going to Suzana's after care medicines and treatments.
We would like to raise $5,000 for the cost of medicines, follow up appointments, after care medical expenses and survival for her and her son while she will be unable to work during her recovery.
