My name is Savannah Sturgeon and I am the founder and primary content creator for The Good Fruit

The Good Fruit is a website, YouTube channel and Bible based community. We create weekly devotionals aimed at helping young adults engage with the Word in the 21st Century. Each week The Good Fruit publishes new devotional content tying together real testimonies and struggles of young people today with the struggles and journeys found in The Bible. Our mission is to and bridge the gap between 50 A.D and 2017.
Nothing scares 20-somethings more than Church, and we want to change that.
This summer we will be launching Harvest Groups. Harvest groups will be small groups of young adults around the country who gather together bi-weekly to study Gods word and encourage each other and do life together. They will receive supplemental study material from The Good Fruit, as well as training materials and access to professional theologians. But most importantly, these groups will be organizing four service projects a year specific to the needs of their local communities. The goal is to encourage one another through The Word, in order to pour spiritually full hearts into the lives and community around us. One might even say...our neighbors.
We hope to see these groups expand and have an influence on the lives of young adults, allowing them to find their calling among fellowship and bear good fruit in their community.
As we cultivate this environment where young adults can come together to be encouraged as well as build the kingdom and reach the needs of their communities, we hope you will join us!
As excited as we are for this journey to reach the final destination, we cannot get there without your help.
Your support will allow us to:
· Train our leaders- With your help we will provide the proper training materials for our Harvest Group leaders and their members. This includes printing costs, T-shirts for mission trips and supplemental study guide material.
· Create- As we aim to expand the name of The Good Fruit and promote Harvest Groups, we will be producing a professional promotional video with a local filmmaker. And with your financial support will not only support us but also your local filmmakers in LA!
· Advertise- we hope to launch advertising campaigns on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Google (Via AdWords) this summer. And with your help, we can reach more people in more places all around the world!
· Launch the merch- That’s right, with your support we will finally be able to launch our online store where proceeds of your favorite necessities like phone cases, mugs and Bible sleeves will go directly towards supporting the site, the staff and the Harvest Groups!
· Pay our contributors- We have some amazing writers, photographers, videographers and theologians working tirelessly to create weekly content for our readers. Providing them with financial backing is a way to show we appreciate them and love them sacrificially.
Our goal is to raise enough funds to support our site, staff and Harvest Groups for an entire year while we continue to expand and grow as an organization. No matter how big or how small, your gift is most appreciated and we are thrilled to have you join the Good Fruit family.
